Looking for my Accordian Album?

To all of those who came to share night on the cruise and  are looking for the album- its in the November Archives. The actual Album base instructions are not there (at that particular class I used a pre-made type of base) I just dont have time tonight to get pics on but Im sure you can get it! If I find timeIll try and make another one tomorrow to go with  these instructions

To make album you saw- you need
2  9x9 raw chipboard pieces( in catty!)
6 12 x 12 white Card stock
Green Mono glue

Cover one side of each of the chip board pieces with the white CS. You want to have the excess wrap around the chipboard- but trim the corners off to that you dont have the bulk. The corners will now be sharp rather than rounded.

Trim 2 of the white   to  9 x 11.  Score 1 inch in on the longer length.

Trim the other 2 pieces to 9x9.

To assemble

Glue the 2 - 9x11 pieces together by gluing the 1 inch flap- they will over lap each other.
Glue to the covers by adhering the other 1 inch flap ti the incomplete side of the covers.

To finish. glue down the 9x9 pieces on the covers- this will cover up all of the wrapped around edges and the 1 inch flaps(if that makes any sense)

Taa Daa- you now have an accordian album ready to cover

This Owl set was part of the gifts we received each night on our pillows, thsese items were wrapped ina very cute orange purse. Every one can see my coming now- its very bright. Owls seem to be very popular now for some reason...

Cruise- Sneak peeks and Ideas

Here are some the things I got to see during the Stampin Up Cruise- it was so FABULOUS!

Imgp3654 New In Colors
- Pink Pirouette
-Riding Hood Red
-Tangerine Tango
- Kiwi Kiss
- Baja Breeze
- Pacific Point

These are samples of one of the new Style Watches- Paper Bella. Its a really neat style that incorporates multi- media like newsprint and fabrics and other items that you wouldnt expect.   I also think it is very feminine. Best of all it seems to use lots of GLITTER.  Lots of scallops, printed paper  and 3-D. One of the biggest hits when they introduced this stuff to us was- A Scallop border punch!

New Year-New Catalogue-New LOWER Prices

I havnt posted in a while- between Christmas and attending Palm Springs for Leadership I havn't kept up. Sorry - I will now. I came home from Leadership full of new and terrific ideas. This will be the best place for me to share them with you so look out!

Ill start with the Good News- Stampin Up has the new Spring /summer Collection out. Its fantastic- so many new products like- Rub ons, Felt Flowers, really neat stamp sets, awesome new scrapbooking products, Scrap kits, new designer double sided papers and so much more....

The GREAT News- the prices are lower. Gotta Love the CAD $  All the prices in the catalogue are reduced about 10-15% off the last one. But even better- take another 7% off all the listed prices. I know its a weird calculation but Ill include a conversion chart in all catalogue I give out.

If you dont have one yet - please let me know an Ill get one to you.

Sale a Bration is also just around the corner- Ill be phoning everyone to make sure you received your brochure so that you know how the sale works. The brochure is wrong in prices as well- the sale is order $70 and you can pick a Sale a Bration set FREE. You can see the brochure by clicking on the SAB icon.

Ill post more  fun stuff later - but Ill still show you a few fun things...Imgp2895 these are some of the items we made
at leadership. Most of them use  my newest addiction- Run ons.

9x9 album layout

I thought I would post the full layout of my 9x9 accordian Album. It uses half of one Simply Scrapping kit as well as a few extra sheets of chocolate chip and river rock. I LOVE this color combination.

I have included the finished album at the end.
I also need to thank Lindsay Sasseville (my cousin and downline) for her talented photography. She did two photo  shoots with us- one with a prego me and then another with with  2 week old Ansel for the baby shots. He wasnt the most cooperative but the pics turned out great.

If you purchase gift certificated from me this month I will be wrapping them in  a can similar to this- so get your wish lit to me and ask for a gift certificate too!
